Die verschiedenen Namen haben ihren Ursprung in der Art der Herstellung.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grauer Wasserstoff<\/strong> wird durch fossile Brennstoffe wie Erdgas, Kohle oder \u00d6l erzeugt. Pro Tonne Wasserstoff entstehen auch 10 Tonnen Co<sub>2<\/sub>, weshalb grauer Wasserstoff nicht als klimaneutral gilt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blauer Wasserstoff<\/strong> entsteht ebenfalls wie grauer Wasserstoff. Das entstandene Co<sub>2<\/sub> wird jedoch anschlie\u00dfend gespeichert und gelangt deshalb nicht in die Atmosph\u00e4re. Er gilt deshalb als klimaneutral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gr\u00fcner Wasserstoff<\/strong> wird nicht durch fossile Brennstoffen, sondern durch die Elektrolyse von Wasser hergestellt. Dabei wird das Wasser mithilfe elektrischen Stroms in Wasserstoff und Sauerstoff zerlegt. Der ben\u00f6tigte Strom f\u00fcr die Elektrolyse kommt ausschlie\u00dflich aus erneuerbaren Energien. Hierf\u00fcr legte die EU-Kommission Voraussetzungen fest, die bei der Herstellung beachtet werden m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Der Strom muss<\/b> <strong>zeitgleich und im selben Gebiet produziert worden sein<\/strong>.
